MEISTER BREUER
This design pays homage to Marcel Breuer’s Cesca Chair (1928), the first mass-produced chair with a tubular steel frame and rattan seat. In this reinterpretation, seven-ply Canadian maple replaces the rattan for the seat, armrests, and backrest. The backrest is finished with a recessed wooden layer featuring an image of Marcel Breuer.
