I designed a brochure for the Greifswald DIY Association. The brochure explains the current situation surrounding the project: the landowner plans to build residential complexes on the site, threatening the future of Greifswald DIY and potentially leading to its closure.
The overall design of the brochure is relatively calm and minimal, as its primary purpose is to support a political cause. At the same time, the wobbly lettering in the headlines and the layered, cut-out photographs create a playful DIY aesthetic that reflects the spirit of the community.
Contributors to this brochure:
Lucia, Chrissy, Jasmin, Kaja, Maya, Sabine, Johanna, Noa, André, Chris, Torben, Henrik, Nils and Jona.

I designed a logo for the skate punk band Shitake. The logo consists of the handwritten word „Shitake“ in large, bold, slightly overlapping letters with a double, shaky outline. Its rough, DIY aesthetic is inspired by classic punk and skate punk band logos, reminiscent of bands such as NOFX, Pulley, Blink-182, and WIZO, making it instantly recognizable within the skate punk genre. For merchandise, the new Shitake logo is prominently featured as a large front print, reflecting the visual traditions of skateboarding and punk culture.

I designed two logos for Greififornia Skate and Swimming Pools.
The round logo combines a palm tree (borrowed from an earlier logo) with three stars that symbolize quality while playfully avoiding the pretentiousness of five. Waves and the Cooper typeface (famously used on the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds album cover) emphasize the surf, skate, and pool vibe. The circular shape resembles a stamp, giving the logo an official touch.
The second logo uses the same elements but abandons the circular form, arranging them vertically instead. It is complemented by the tiled lettering “Greififornia,” inspired by the edge tiles of the Greifswalder DIY pool. A fictional phone number provides some humor.

I designed a logo for the Greifswalder DIY Association. The logo features three toy building blocks displaying the letters D, I, and Y, inspired by the logo of a local daycare center. Beneath the blocks, the word “greifswalder” is written in Comic Sans, which adds to the playful and fun look of the design. By combining a children’s visual language with the DIY concept, the logo conveys a sense of creativity, humor, and community spirit.
